A young veterinary surgeon’s leg was cut off by the sadist Fate. Now he operates standing on one leg. The pain in spine and in the small of his back is sharp but the dog he is operating on suffers more.
The life without operations to the surgeon virtuoso is meaningless. The dog doesn’t need the meaning – it suffers for its greatest value, the dog’s life.
